Our Founder & Principal Solicitor
Waqar Noor
Waqar is an experienced Solicitor with over 25 years of PQE and a demonstrable history of owning and managing Firms in the Legal Sector.
Waqar’s vision was to provide friendly, efficient and highly professional legal services to people throughout the UK.
Waqar was instrumental in setting up one of the first ABS Law Firms. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 (having previously trained in Accountancy & Finance), before becoming an Equity Partner at Lancashire-based firm in 2002, where he remained for almost a decade. Waqar then set up an innovative boutique practice in 2011 that was swiftly acquired as an ABS in 2013.
Waqar is a commercial-minded Lawyer with a down-to-earth, straight-talking attitude and provides exceptional Client service.
He has considerable experience of acting for both Commercial Clients and Private Individuals across the full spectrum of litigation and disputes. His work on behalf of Commercial Clients includes cases such as Contract Disputes, Debt Recovery/Collection, Landlord-Tenant Disputes and general Civil Litigation.
Waqar dealt with many types of Financial Mis-selling claims, including multi-million-pound Interest Rate Swap Mis-selling claims and also sat on the Swap Claimant Steering Committee.
Waqar advises on Contract Disputes, Debt Recovery, Consumer Claims, Housing Disrepair and Professional Negligence claims. However, in an extensive and varied career, Waqar has dealt with thousands of Personal Injury Claims, including
accidents at work including RSI, VWF, Slips and trips; Industrial diseases including Asbestos, Deafness, Work-related Dermatitis, Occupational Asthma, Head and Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, Road Traffic Accidents and Fatal Accidents.
